We took a little road trip up to Apple Hill today. We couldn't have asked for a better day. The weather was perfect, a little cloudy, and in the low 70s.
This is one of my favorite farms to stop at. The produce was beautiful. I picked up butternut squash, yams, granny smith apples, and we couldn't leave without a blackberry pie, a couple of apple pies, and fresh apple cider.
This is a fully stocked pond at one of the more popular farms.
Although I don't think she was too sure about all of them.
We stopped here for the best bbq ribs. We were the only ones there the whole time, but these two were a hoot! The secret's in the sauce ;0)
Oh!! I can smell the apples, the evergreen and the scent that is unique to Apple Hill!
ReplyDeleteHigh Hill and Boa Vista are our family's two favorite Apple Hill ranches to visit.
We have not been in several years, even though it's just a hop, skip and a jump up the road ....
Hmmm..... maybe next week when all the crafters start arriving for the Christmas Boutiques!
Thanks for the "scent-sational" post!
Ohhhhh someone was having way to much fun! Rosie is adorable! Love the pictures! How is the pie?
ReplyDeleteWe wanted to go this year but haven't made it...maybe we'll go for Xmas trees. Where are your fave spots??
