Vanilla Cupcakes

I know... the love of cupcakes has been around for awhile, but what's not to love?
There is nothing better than little individual servings of dessert neatly contained in it's own colorful packaging.

I found this cupcake recipe on Martha Stewart's Website. However, I added vanilla bean paste and almond extract to the frosting. They are/were delicious;)
We carry the Confectionary House cupcake liners at the kitchen store. The colors are so vibrant, and I love that they are grease-proof.

  4. Here in Australia we call cupcake liners 'Patty Pans'. I've no idea how that came to be, but yes, a little cupcake or 5 is one of life's best treats. If my very dodgy oven wasn't on it's last legs, I'd be staight off to the kitchen to whip up a batch now.

  5. I just bought the green polka dot ones the other day! I figured the kids would love these for some St. Patrick's day cupcakes. Yours look delicious, so I think I will try the Martha recipe as well.

  7. Hi Kat, 60 miles, wow! I think it would be so much fun to have a cupcake shop. I think the closest one to us is in Sacramento.

Hi Cherry! Of course I remember you, I'm so glad you found me... You are so sweet! I am so excited to go check out your blog! Please come back and visit.

Hi Kristi, thanks for stopping by. LOL, they didn't last too long here either!

Hi Millie, Patty pans...that's so cute, I will remember that. I know what you mean about the oven, I dream of a new one too. I have to really watch mine. Every now and then it will turn off, all by itself! I have ruined (it has ruined) too many baked goods to mention :( Oh well... someday.

Hi Bridgett! Thanks for stopping by. I love the new polka dot liners, they are perfect for St. Patrick's day. Let me know if you make the martha cupcakes and how your family likes them. I think I'm cupcake obsessed right now ;)
Lorraine just ordered some really cute cupcake and sugar cookie books, hopefully they will be heresoon.

Hi Sue, thanks for stopping by. These really are the best liners. (I sound like an add lol) nothing more frustrating than an ugly cupcake ha ha! Thank's for the Birthday wish, I'll pass it on to Larry. Have a great day!

  8. Alice, I don't know how you work there and actually come home with a paycheck! I think I would be in the negatives if I worked there, especially with all that Vietri.

  9. LOL Bridgett...It's hard! I have a long wish list! Don't you just love the Vietri, not to mention the Arte Italica. It is a lot of fun, but boy can I get into a lot of trouble there!
